Melville Presents: Live Fridays feat. Māia Huia

Ellen Melville Centre has long been a community space that celebrates and supports our local women. In this spirit Ellen Melville & Holding Space Aotearoa are proud to bring you a new monthly - Live Music Showcase featuring talented Wahine / Fem Identifying musicians: Second Friday of the month, 5-7pm. Come and enjoy some tunes in Freyberg Square this summer and kick start your weekend.

This performance also coincides with Auckland Pride Month celebrations :)

Friday 9 February we have: MĀIA HUIA

Māia Huia is a Multi-Instrumentalist Musician based in Tāmaki-Makaurau, an emerging artist and producer in her own right, known for her groove-heavy rhythmic stylings and lush harmonic sensibilities. As a session musician she can also be found as a part of the backing bands for artists such as MOHI & Jordyn with a Why.
