Ellen Melville Centre has long been a community space that celebrates and supports our local women. In this spirit Ellen Melville & Holding Space Aotearoa are proud to bring you a new monthly - Live Music Showcase featuring talented Wahine / Fem Identifying musicians: Second Friday of the month 5-7pm *We get a bonus gig this month to make up for our break in January*

Friday 22 March we have: MANUELA
Columbian-Kiwi singer-songwriter Manuela blends Spanish and English in her music to showcase elements from both sides of her cultural identity. Her music fuses reggaeton, jazz and RnB and it tells stories of youth and love. Manuela formed her first band at age 12, teaching herself guitar to accompany her singing voice. She performs in various line-ups including front woman for 8-piece funk & soul band Big Tasty.
